Kalorama Residence

The story

The three energetic young boys who just moved into this gorgeous Georgian home in Kalorama had no place to play, eat, or store anything outside. Our work linked the disparate spaces through planting and creative wood and metal detailing, setting the stage for beautiful new furnishings selected by TOBE Design Group. We designed a custom bike shed to accommodate all their bikes and toys. Rhythm and line flow through the multiple levels, from the guardrails, to the pergola, down the stairs, across the vine trellises, screening the utilities, cladding the bike shed, and finally to the lines of boxwoods down the front.
